LED Halloween Decoration
As my mother was born on Halloween, I have given her a few hand crafted LED decorations that could be placed around the house. For the Lasercut glowbox, I had originally cut the Halloween themed black acrylic sheet with the UCSD CNC laser cutter during my senior year. A few years had went by and I had an idea that if I could find a piece of translucent film and some LEDs to put behind it, that I could create a glowing effect which would be perfect as a Halloween decoration. Combining a piece of frosted glass, 13 Arduino controlled RGB LEDs and some lightning special effects, the project came out looking great although the Iphone video really doesn't do it justice compared to seeing it in person.
For the Annabelle boxed doll, I installed a few LEDs controlled by an Arduoino Nano to give the doll some extra scare effect.
